Hi y'all! I know it's been a loonnnnggg time since a post. Sometimes life gets in the way and so many things happened at once, I just needed a break...a time to clear my head. I got to a point I couldn't even concentrate on a book and would set it down and not come back to it. I'm very happy to say that I'm once again at a place that I can come back to the bookish world again! I missed you guys!! I think it may take some time until I'm fully back, my posts may be a little more spaced out but I plan on gradually coming back and at my own speed. That being said, it's getting close to Halloween and I wanted to pick out a spooky read to cozy up to. I've chosen Her by Danielle Rose. I've already read the first few pages, and it's so spooky! 👻 Are you reading anything scary for Halloween? Hi, everyone! I know I haven't been posting as regularly as I used to. Back in the beginning of March in my TBR pos t, I told y'all I was going to be pretty busy at work. I'm starting to get into the groove of things and hopefully I'll be posting more frequently in the near future. The main reason for this post is to talk about my new theme. I logged onto Blogger tonight and noticed new, beautiful, modern themes! Of course, me being me I was impulsive and changed to a new theme without a second thought. (Don't worry, I backed up my blog!) I absolutely love my new theme but all of my old posts have my old font, colors and all that jazz. Oh, and I can't seem to sync my Disqus to my new theme. 😔Please bear with me while I sort everything out! Hopefully, I'll get it all sorted out in April and be ready to rock soon afterward. I'm super excited about my new theme and to be posting again! How's your Spring going so far?

Hello everyone! I just wanted to give y'all an update on what I've been up to and such. I'm currently dealing with an awful sinus infection (I know eww) and I've been working a TON of hours so I'm a bit run down at the moment. I've decided to take it easy on the blog so I can focus on feeling better and get some rest. Hopefully I'll begin feeling better once my antibiotics kick in and I get some much needed rest this weekend. That being said I'll still be around but I won't be blogging on a set schedule so to speak. Since I haven't had much energy I've been reading pretty slowly. I'm currently reading Fallen by Lauren Kate. I had planned on reading the whole series in October but I just didn't have the extra time to this month. I've also decided to switch it up a little so I'll be starting a New Adult novel titled Dirty Like Me this weekend as well. Hopefully I'll be able to post my review soon for that one but we...

Hello everyone! I hope everyone's weekend has been well, luckily I had a three day weekend instead of the usual two! I really needed that extra day, as I'm getting over a stubborn cold. I'm not sure if I told you all or not, but I work a LOT of hours September through December. Tonight I am finishing up reading Lord Fenton's Folly, my review will be posted on October 3rd! It's been really fun reading it, plus Carla over at Lipstick & Mocha just read it, so I get to chat with her tonight about it! We're planning on doing a review together, I have no idea how that looks but I'm sure it will be fun! The reason I wanted to write this post was because I just finished watching Magic Beyond Words, The JK Rowling Story . (This movie is on Netflix instant!) My husband and I watched it, he's not a big reader but he really enjoyed it. I am still trying to talk him into reading the series, in my opinion the Harry Potter books are even for people who don...

I hope everyone's summer has been good so far!  I wanted to give you all an update as to why I haven't posted a review this week. I just finished a VERY good book last night and wrote the review, however it won't be posted until the 18th. Just hang in there, I promise you'll love it!!
