The Diary of a Mood Reader

My goal last month was to read a whopping eight books. I ended up reading 3 and a half. I worked a lot more hours than I had anticipated at my job and things have been hectic lately. For the month of March I'm going to add most of the books I didn't get to in February and that's pretty much it besides a short story. On Monday I'll be taking on a new department at work and for the next two to three months my attention will be focused on getting that together. Hopefully, everything pans out and my expected timeline works out.  Well, without further ado here's my TBR for the month of March...

For the past few months I've been in a major mood reading slump. Yeah, I didn't want to follow a strict to-be-read list. Now I'm back to needing structure! Here's what I'm planning on reading this month: I know eight books for me is a LOT but I'm almost finished with Trapped in Wonderland and I'm about 30% done with Cashmere. I plan on fully finishing all of them except Life and Death , that one I think I'll be reading the last week or so of February into March.  I'd love to know what you're planning on reading for the month of February. Last month my reading goals were pretty ambitious with six books. I ended up reading two on my list ( Stone Cold Touch and Every Last Breath ) and rereading Fallen by Lauren Kate in order to prepare myself for the rest of the series. I'll be adding what I didn't get to last month in addition to two more books for the month of November/December. (These months are super busy for me so I'm combining them.) So last month I managed to finish four of my six books on my TBR list plus an extra SIX BOOKS! Me being a moody reader I'm actually pretty darn proud of myself!  Not to mention, I suffered through an awful book slump after reading A Shade of Vampire by Bella Forrest. (I plan on reading the second book soon!) Luckily for me I stumbled upon The Gender Game by Bella, let me tell you...that book hit the spot!  Last night I started reading Stone Cold Touc h by Jennifer L. Armentrout and I'm loving it! I'm not sure why I stopped at White Hot Kiss last year.  Pretty last minute (meaning like 5 minutes ago, yeah that's how I roll.) I decided that this is the month for me to catch up on books that have been sitting on my shelves for ages. So last month I participated in the ARCAugust reading challenge hosted by the lovely ladies over at Read.Sleep.Repeat . I've always been a 'moody' read and never really followed a strict TBR (to-be-read) list, however I loved this challenge so much I've decided to at least try following a TBR! My TBR may be a little different, as I will go with a 'group' of books and pick from those for the month as my feels dictate. This way hopefully I can keep up with my never ending pile of ARCS, books I buy and so on! Without further ado here are the books I'd like to choose from for the month... Whew what a month! I read a total of 7 books last month which is almost unheard of for me! (Of course two of them were short stories but that is still a lot for me!)
