The Quiet Moments {What I'm grateful for this week...}

I've decided to do a weekly blog post about one thing I'm grateful for during the entire month of December.  Today, I am grateful for the quiet moments in a hectic life...

We all have our ups and downs, times of rain and times of sunshine. Sitting in my kitchen, sipping a cup of hot coffee sprinkled with my favorite French vanilla creamer, I realized something. That I am grateful for the quiet moments life gives us. A time to reflect on the day before and to begin anew. For me, those serene mornings help me settle to my mind, my quirky thoughts, and most importantly,  they help me see things in a refreshing light. Often times, I go to bed exhausted but always seem to look forward to my mornings.  Especially during this time of year.

This morning, as I was preparing lunch for work, I looked up from my cup of coffee at the stove and that  is when inspiration struck for this post and the realization that it's in these quiet moments that help me to gather strength, clarity, calmness, happiness and last but not least, gratefulness.
I hope that you have a wonderful week! Let me know what you are grateful for in the comments.
