Hosted by the lovely ladies @ The Broke and the Bookish
So I decided to take a different approach on this one and go back as far as I can, spanning as far back as . Here they are:
1. Secret Vampire by L.J. Smith
Such a good YA paranormal. If this one was republished with an updated cover I feel this one would turn a lot of heads.
2. Wake by Lisa McMann
I read this one back in 2009 and was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It's about physic abilities and it's action packed.
3. Ride the Wind by Lucia St. Clair Robson
My favorite book of all time. I first read this book when I was 14 or 15 and immediately fell in love with it. Not my typical genre but it'll always have a special place in my heart. I wish everyone could see the raw beauty in this one.
4. Feather by Abra Ebner
I read this book back in 2010 way before I started reviewing or blogging. One of my favorite books involving magic, angels and an amazing plot! Hopefully I'll be able to read the rest of this series soon!
5. Under the Trees by Ashley Maker
I read this one in one sitting! I compared it to The Prince & Me meshed with the movie Enough starring Jennifer Lopez. Oh and it has the best HEA!
6. Drown by Esther Dalseno
Sometimes what we are searching for does not exist. We may sacrifice for it, even bleed for it, but it was never meant to be ours.
This story is very dark and lyrically written. I can't believe it only has 134 reviews on Goodreads.
7. Velvet by Temple West
I bought this one on a whim and immediately fell in love with the story, characters and everything within the pages of Velvet. I am a bit surprised that more people haven't picked this one up. Don't let the fact that it's about vampires scare you away people, this one is worth the read!
8. Intuitive by Kat Fugate
This one is written by an Indie author of a friend of a friend. She told me about it and at the time it was free on Amazon so I get it a show and BOY AM I GLAD I DID! I just checked and it only has 9 reviews on Goodreads. I promise, this is a great book, there just hasn't been enough publicity for this one to get out there in the book community.
9. Ghost of a Chance by Karen Kirkendoll
I read this one back in 2013 and loved it! If you like creepy ghost stories mixed with romance then you'll probably like this one.
10. The Aureate Spectacles by Eliott McKay
I couldn't wrap this list up without including this amazing book. I just finished reading this one a few days ago and it's going into my favorites of all time collection! So far there are only 33 ratings and 19 reviews on Goodreads. It's one of the most unique and lyrical books I've read in a LONG time!
I'd love to hear from you, feel free to leave me links to your Top Ten Tuesday post so I can check them out! Have a great week!
