She's haunted. He's lethal. Trust issues, anyone?
Finally, Lexi Coolen has a home. Or so she thinks. Bouncing around for over 10 years, she's discovered she's safest on her own. Shaking off the shadow of being a teen amongst werewolves has been tough, but she's always managed. Until she met Kerr.
Kerr MacDonald messed up. Letting a rival pack's pet human move into town without permission is bad for business. Fixing things should be easy, except he's torn. Force her out or claim her as his own?
High Tide at Harvest Moon is the first installment in the Fundy Bay Pack series. If you like strong, independent heroines, sexy heroes too used to getting their own way and small-town quirkiness, you'll love Taryn Blackthorne's new paranormal romance.

My Thoughts...
I've always loved reading Paranormal Romance. However, for some reason, I always tread very carefully around shifter romances. I decided to give this one a go and am go glad I did!
The protagonist is Lexi Coolen. I loved her fearlessness! I haven't read a book with a main character as fierce and independent since the Night Huntress novels! Lexi is an awesome strong heroine!
The romance was very believable. At first, I wasn't a fan of Kerr but once I got to know him and more about his background he quickly grew on me. I can't wait to find out what happens in book two!
I thoroughly enjoyed the setting and the world building. This one is set in Canada which was interesting and refreshing for me. I loved Taryn's take on shifters and how she left some things open-ended for plenty of possibilities of more books. One of my favorites is the witches. Maybe we'll get to know more about them in the next book, who knows!
I'd recommend if: You like strong independent heroines. Have an affection for Paranormal Romance. Want something original and unique!
