My Thoughts...
Going into this I knew this book was hugely popular and it was being compared to Twilight. I had never really read the summary and I had this one on my TBR for awhile now. This one wasn't on my September TBR but a coworker convinced me to try out the first book in this series and boy am I glad I did! 

This one was a really quick, fast-paced and very entertaining read! While I didn't love it as much as I thought I would (you know me, I love vampire romance!) I do want to continue with this series. 

My favorite part of this book was the romance. I loved the dynamic between Derek and Sofia. 

“From the moment I got here, all I’ve wanted to do is escape and go back home, but Derek…” She leaned toward me and placed a gentle kiss on my cheek. “You’ve begun to feel like home.”

There's not much more I can say that hasn't already been said by the other 20,000 reviewers who have written reviews for this one.
