When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

My Review of A Court of  Thorns and  Roses

This book is going down in my ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOKS! I believe this book is the best book I've read in the last five years!

No words can justify how I feel for this incredible book! Simply put, this will be a short review.

I'm not sure what I can say about this book that everyone else hasn't already talked about. Well this is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, a very grown up New Adult version. I loved every minute of it!

Things I loved:

♥ The Setting - The writing pulled me in, I wish I lived in Pyrthian! Within Pyrthian you have seven courts.
  1. Spring Court  (This is where most of the book takes place.)
  2. Summer Court
  3. Autumn Court
  4. Winter Court
  5. Night Court
  6. Day Court
  7. Dawn Court
The Romance - The romance between the two MC's was HOT HOT HOT! This is not, I repeat not young adult people, it's as NA as you can get while pushing the limits! I loved every second of it!

The Dialog -  I mentioned earlier above that the writing pulled me in; here are some of my favorite quotes:
    • "I was as unburdened as a piece of dandelion fluff, and he was the wind that stirred me about the world."
    • "Slowly, so slowly, his eyes roved down, then up. As if he were studying every inch, every curve of me. And even though I wore my ivory underthings, that gaze alone stripped me bare."
    • "Be glad of your human heart, Feyre. Pity those who don't feel anything at all."
    • "I knew-I knew I was headed down a path that would likely end in my mortal heart being left in pieces, and yet...And yet I couldn't stop myself."
♥ The author- Sarah J Maas is going down as my new favorite auto-buy author!
I would recommend this to anyone loves to read fantasy and doesn't mind some mature romance. This book is absolutely amazing! If you don't believe me check out the many reviews on Goodreads & Amazon!
