Maggie is a seventeen year old girl who's had a bad year. Her mom left, her dad is depressed, she's graduating, barely, and her boyfriend of almost three years dumped her for a college football scholarship. Lately she thinks life is all about hanging on by a thread and is gripping tight with everything she has. Then she meets Caleb. She saves his life and instantly knows there's something about him that's intriguing but she is supposed to be on her way to a date with his cousin. But things change when they touch, sparks ignite. Literally. They imprint with each other and she sees their future life together flash before her eyes. She learns that not only is she his soul mate, and can feel his heartbeat in her chest, but there is a whole other world of people with gifts and abilities that she never knew existed. She herself is experiencing supernatural changes unlike anything she's ever felt before and she needs the touch of his skin to survive. Now, not only has her dad come out of his depression to be a father again, and a pain as well, but Caleb's enemies know he's imprinted and are after Maggie to stop them both from gaining their abilities and take her from him. Can Caleb save her or will they be forced to live without each other after just finding one another?

My thoughts on Significance...

If I could legally marry a book this would be the one! I originally read Significance back in 2012, to this day it is still at the top of my favorite YA romances of all time! Shelly Crane you are a beautiful genius!

From the very first page, I knew I’d like this book. What I did not expect was getting my heart melted over and over again throughout the story! If you aren’t a believer in love at first sight, this book will make you second guess yourself!

Caleb and Maggie are freakin adorable! When we meet Maggie, well let's just say her life is pretty much in shambles. Her mom just up and left, her dad is severely depressed, and her boyfriend dumped her! First of all, what kind of guy dumps his girlfriend when her mom just left? A selfish one, that’s for sure!

Well, let’s just say I’m a believer in fate. Maggie is just minding her own business when she stumbles upon Caleb, literally! Nevertheless, she saves his life and from that point on she knows that something has changed. As soon as they touched they imprinted, they are each other’s significant. A significant is a soul-mate. Strange things begin happening to her, she needs Caleb’s touch to survive. The ironic thing is, she was on her way to meet his cousin for a date!

From this point on some serious shit hits the fan! Let’s just say, Caleb doesn’t have a fan club out there. As soon as his enemies find out he’s imprinted they are out for revenge. Caleb and Maggie are the first couple in their generation to have imprinted, and no one knows why.

If you are in the mood for a sweet romance, you know the soul-mate, I need you in my life forever kind of book, then Significance is for you!

If you love this book you will be happy to know that it is in pre-production to become a TV show! According to IMDB.com, it will be airing on October 28th 2015, ahhhh I'm so excited!! I am so happy and anxiously awaiting to hit record on my DVR!!

  3. Every time I see the word "imprint" I just think of Twilight hahaha
This sounds really nice, at first when I saw the cover I thought it was a contemporary, but this being a paranormal romance is even better haha :) I'm so glad you enjoy reading this so much, I hadn't heard of it before!
