"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine , that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. Check them out for links to more blogs! :)

This week's pre-publication "can't wait to read" selection is...

Soundless by: Richelle Mead
Publication date: November 10th 2015
Publisher: Razorbill

All about Soundless...

From Richelle Mead, the #1 internationally bestselling author of Vampire Academy and Bloodlines, comes a breathtaking new fantasy steeped in Chinese folklore.

For as long as Fei can remember, there has been no sound in her village, where rocky terrain and frequent avalanches prevent residents from self-sustaining. Fei and her people are at the mercy of a zipline that carries food up the treacherous cliffs from Beiguo, a mysterious faraway kingdom.

When villagers begin to lose their sight, deliveries from the zipline shrink and many go hungry. Fei’s home, the people she loves, and her entire existence is plunged into crisis, under threat of darkness and starvation.

But soon Fei is awoken in the night by a searing noise, and sound becomes her weapon.

Richelle Mead takes readers on a triumphant journey from the peak of Fei’s jagged mountain village to the valley of Beiugo, where a startling truth and an unlikely romance will change her life forever...

I just LOVE Richelle's writing and cannot wait for Soundless!

What's your "waiting on" pick this week?

  1. I haven't read anything by this author even though I think I own several of her books. I will have to look for this book. I can't wait for the new Ilona Andrews book - only a few more weeks left until its release!

    2. The Kate Daniels series is phenomenal! The first book is Magic Bites as the series progresses the books just get better. They also wrote Burn for Me that came out last year which I love. I love everything the writing pair of Ilona Andrews writes. :)

  4. I haven't read all of Mead's books yet, but I'm really excited that she's finally writing a standalone! It's hard to commit to six books sometimes O_O

    1. Kayla,
Yeah, I don't do too good at committing either. If I find a book that comes out that just happens to be a part of a series I will read it but I can tell you I have LOTS of unfinished series on my Goodreads account. ;)

What can I say, watching all 10 seasons of Supernatural on Netflix plus all of my DVR'd shows did me in. But I always make sure to make time to watch my favorite books come to life on the big screen! Without further ado here are my top ten 5 book to movie adaptations I'm looking forward to! (I couldn't think of ten!)
