Top Ten Tuesday: Top 10 of 2015 so far!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish

Top Ten Tuesday

I have read 25 books so far this year, here are my top ten so far for 2015! Due to the fact that I just started my blog I only have reviews on one of these titles posted. I am hoping to post more reviews on these titles soon. :)

I went ahead and made them into a collage, they are in no particular order.

Listed in the order I read them...

1. Intuitive by Kat Fugate- I read Intuitive back in January, in fact it was one of my first reads of 2015. I absolutely LOVED this book, it's independently published and I highly recommend you get this! As a matter of fact it's free on Kindle!

2. Alienated by Melissa Landers- The author Melissa had a launch party for the second book in the series Invaded that I attended back in February. This was my very first book signing, she is super nice! I loved Alienated, completely original idea of an alien exchange student. Really fun read!

3. Until Midnight by Melissa Landers- This is a novella that is on Amazon for free. It takes place after Alienated but before Invaded. Very cute story of Cara & Aelyx!

4. Invaded by Melissa Landers- Her sequel Invaded is just as good if not better than the first book in the series Alienated! Very fun series, I hope Disney/Hyperion goes ahead and lets her publish the third book in the series.

5. The 5 Stages of Falling in Love by Rachel Higginson- So I absolutely love Rachel's writing and when I found out she was putting out a new book I knew I NEEDED to read it! The first book I read of her's was Reckless Magic which is YA. The 5 Stages book is an adult contempory, not usually my thing but I will read ANYTHING Rachel writes. I highly encourage you to read this, however hold on to your heart strings and have plenty of tissues handy!

6. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard- So I read this book in March, I checked it out at my local library. It had a lot of hype, and boy did it live up to it! I will surely buying a hard cover of this baby soon, can't wait for Glass Sword to come out on February 2016!

7. Uninvited by Sophie Jordan- I won this book in another author's bookclub on Goodreads. I hardly ever win anything so needless to say I very excited to read this! It's about a girl named Davy, her DNA brands her as a killer, she's on her way to Juillard to study music when her DNA test comes back positive for Homicidal Tendency Syndrome. VERY VERY GOOD!!

8. Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover- This is my very first book that I have read by Colleen. I don't remember how I found out about her, I just knew she's ALL OVER THE INTERNET! I just love her writing, and the way she wrote Sydney & Ridge's story, made me feel so much! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

9. Velvet by Temple West- I think I picked up this book almost by accident. I was shopping at Kroger and happened to walk past the book section, of course I had to stop. ;) Well on the front cover there's a blurb that goes "First rule of dealing with vampire bodyguards? Don't fell in love." Well I'm a sucker for vampires, no pun intended! I have a review for this and will be adding the link here: Review for Velvet
The second book in The Velvet Trilogy is expected in 2016.

10. Rampant by Diana Peterfreund- I saved the best for last, this book blew me away! I actually picked this one up from Book Outlet for .49! It was published in 2009, my absolute favorite read so far in 2015! Here is part of the blurb: "Real unicorns are venomous, man-eating monsters with huge fangs and razor-sharp horns. Fortunately, they've been extinct for a hundred and fifty years. Or not."
My review for Rampant.
If you want to read about a kick ass female heroine then this book is for you!

So, what are some of your favorites of the year so far?
